that's all i got to say about it. hard to be more descriptive when you can't get within about 500 yards of something, but i found a good vantage point from the guthrie's "endless bridge". we've all seen much better photographs than mine, but nothing compares to the experience of taking the photos yourself.

Coming home from a job in NE I drove by the north end by the University overpass and you can get shockingly close where it broke apart. It also seems to be where they've parked all the satellite trucks for the media. Regardless of where this had happened it would still be just as terrible of a disaster, but I find myself especially pained every time I'm reminded of the fact that it happened here.
